I have finally arrived!!!

Of course, in true Jen Shields form I join the blog 10 days after our trip has already started- whoops!!

So we are back in Dublin today and about to leave for Belfast for the evening. We travelled to Galway on Wednesday night and stayed the night there. It is a small costal town and was absolutely stunning- we loved it!!! It was everything we expected and more. We arrived to our hostel at about 6pm and then headed out to look for some dinner. The weather was beautiful and sunny (it doesn't get dark until 10:30 here!) and there were people sitting on grass everywhere drinking! We grab ourselves some food and a bottle of wine and joined the masses having dinner by the ocean at sunset! We wandered around the coast and town a bit but got a relatively early night because we needed to be up for our trip to the Cliffs of Moher!

So, let me tell you all, you MUST see the Cliffs of Moher! We took a tour bus that left a 10 am and stopped various times to look at different castles and landmarks before stopping for lunch in a town 10 minutes from the Cliffs. We made it to the cliffs for an hour stop and they were absolutely breathtaking! We were lucky to have beautiful weather and took tons of pictures and video for you all to see. On the way back we stopped at some ruins and caves and got back to Galway at 6pm in just enough time to catch our train. It was a great day and our tour guide was fantastic- we couldn't have asked for our Galway/Cliffs of Moher trip to be any better! Andddd the bus tour only cost 20 euro which was a steal here!

We arrived back in Dublin at about 9pm last night, checked back into our hostel, got ready and headed out for a night on the town! We had yet to really experience good nightlife so we went to the legendary Temple Bar district. There were people everywhere and we stopped in a nice pub for a pint and some live music- great times!

We are headed today to Belfast (and I keep trying to warn the girls because we are going to be lost in the northern ireland accent- they are so difficult to understand!) and then tomorrow morning we fly to Amsterdam!! So excited to visit places I haven't been!

I hope everyone is well and please comment on our blog- we get really excited! For now from Dublin!

Sir Winston Churchill said "Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb."

I hope that every step of your journey and this path is better than the last!!!
